Hit the beach. Tybee is a beach town, after all, with five public beaches–three on the ocean side and two on the river.
South Beach, with its Pier and Pavilion, is a popular spot in the heart of the action with occasional concerts and events. Mid Beach is less crowded with parking available only on the street. North Beach is known for the Tybee Lighthouse, Fort Screven, and the jetties.
