Local Tip: Get to Tybee Island early to find parking!!! This is the busiest day of the year on Tybee Island, and parking is limited (make sure you pay for your parking). The fireworks are launched from the Tybee Pier at sunset. Bring plenty of water and food. The restaurants will be packed and if you have a young family, chances are the little ones will be frustrated before you get your food. Plan for extra time to get off the island if you don’t have accommodations. Tybee will look like a parking lot at the end of the evening.
