If you’re planning a visit to the Plant Riverside District, there are several great places to stay in the area. The JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District is the flagship hotel of the development and offers luxurious accommodations and stunning views of the Savannah River. Another option is the Homewood Suites by Hilton Savannah Historic District/Riverfront, which is located just a short walk from the Plant Riverside District and offers comfortable suites and easy access to the city’s many attractions. For a more budget-friendly option, the Holiday Inn Express Savannah – Historic District is just a few blocks away and offers clean, comfortable rooms and a complimentary breakfast. Visitors to the Plant Riverside District can enjoy a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops, as well as attractions like the Power Plant Museum and the Savannah Riverfront.

Local Tip:If you don’t have dinner reservations and you’re planning on visiting the Historic District on the weekend, find parking close to Broughton Street and the City Market. Broughton Street has many restaurants that don’t require reservations.

If you’re looking for a place to stay near the Victorian district, some popular options include the Catherine Ward House Inn, a charming bed and breakfast housed in a restored 1886 mansion, the Azalea Inn and Villas, a beautifully restored 19th-century mansion, and the Gastonian, an elegant bed and breakfast that offers a touch of luxury. Visitors to the Victorian district can take a stroll through the streets and marvel at the beautiful homes and buildings. With its stunning architecture and rich history, the Victorian district is a must-see for anyone visiting Savannah.
Local Tip: The Victorian district is located by Forsyth Park! Pack a lunch and enjoy sitting underneath the angle oaks while watching people explore the park. Parking around Forsyth Park can be scarce sometimes, but early mornings you should find plenty of parking around the park and side streets.
