Eat, Drink, and Enjoy | Lady’s Night
Where to eat for the perfect girls getaway?
Food is a southern staple. From grits to fresh seafood, Savannah has it all. Eat like a local girl at Local 11 Ten. Be sure to check out Perch, the rooftop bar and lounge on top of Local 11 Ten has more than just tempting drinks. They have drink specials from 5-6 PM and live music every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 6-9 PM.
Another local favorite is the Olde Pink House. The ambiance is ideal for an exquisite southern meal in the heart of Savannah. Let the inner Southernbell in you shine! Be sure to check out the Planters Tavern, which is their downstairs bar. If any of you ladies feel a pinch on your bottom, it is rumored that it’s haunted by the former owner, Joseph Habersham, a Revolutionary War veteran. It’s also rumored that he joins in the fun at the bar and is the one blamed for the mysterious lighting of candles.
A more budget-friendly place to eat at in Savannah is Crystal Beer Parlor. It’s the oldest restaurant in Savannah! Their doors have been open since 1933. The substantial menu can satisfy any appetite. Here you can get anything from fried green tomatoes to crab stew, to a burger. You won’t be disappointed with your meal, but you may be disappointed with yourself if you don’t come hungry because the portions are extremely generous.
